Or, more recently when Adele dropped her new lyric 'My Little Love' which has snippets of conversations with her little boy on it.It also features archival audio of her as a baby. Over a piano-driven instrumental, Eminem says the song is intended for Hailie to listen to when he dies and remember his love for her,[2][3][4] before telling her to look after her siblings and uncle after his death.
He also admits the song is "the hardest thing I ever wrote".[2] The chorus, as well as the first verse, are sung by Skylar Grey.[2][4]

Eminem is famously protective of his daughter Hailie Scott, often rapping about her in his songs. But just last year, Eminem — real name Marshall Mathers — admitted he regrets creature so open about his daughter and his relationship with her mother on his tracks. The track suggests Eminem is unable to look his daughters in the eye following his substance abuse. Eminem may be known for his tough exterior, but he's a big softie when it comes to his kids. But once I smash them gates where I reside, that's when I'm Dad. He continued, "Takin' the kids to school, pickin' 'em up, teachin' 'em rules. I'm not sayin' I'm the perfect father, but the most important thing is to be there for my kids and raise them the right way.Retrieved 8 August

The song is a little different to others in Eminem's back catalogue, and he has previously spit bars about financial battles, relationship break-downs, heartbreaking losses, substance abuse and the estrangements from his children that he endured. Yet his latest album, which was released today 12 Julyfeatures more emotion than we've seen from the Detroit rapper and it's all linked to his relationship with his daughter year-old Hailie Jade.
