Cardiff After Dark - Maciej Dakowicz Photography: Maciej Dakowicz (born 20 November ) is a Polish street photographer, photojournalist and gallerist. He is from Białystok in North East Poland. [1] Dakowicz is best known for his series of photographs of Cardiff night-life titled Cardiff after Dark. [2].

Maciej Dakowicz is a Polish photographer and educator currently based in Poland. He holds a PhD in computer science, but abandoned science to center on photography.

He is a member the international street photography collective UP Photographers and an official Fujifilm X-Photographer. His interests are in documentary, travel and street photography.
Maciej&#;s photos own been widely published, exhibited and shown at photo festivals.

Maciej Dakowicz is a Polish lane photographer, photojournalist and gallerist. He lived in Cardiff, Wales, between andwhere he worked and studied for his PhD. He left work at the university in and has been working as a photographer since. From he has been based in Mumbai.

He is a recipient of numerous awards and has judged multiple photography competitions. His photos have been featured in major street photography books including &#;Street Photography Now&#;, &#;The World Atlas of Street Photography&#;, &#; Fantastic Street Photographs&#;, &#;Street Photography: A History in Iconic Photographs&#; and &#;Bystander: A History of Road Photography&#;.

He is an creator of two monographs – “Cardiff After Dark” published by Thames &#; Hudson in October and “Sonepur Mela” self-published in July Currently he is mainly occupied with teaching his popular lane photography workshops in Asia and Eastern Europe.
