Dylan and Dakota Jordan Gonzalez were born on December 9, in Overland Park, Kansas, the twin daughters of David and Angela Gonzalez.[3] Angela had a son, Conor Rauselbach, from her first marriage, and David had two children, Natalia and Javier, from his first marriage.[4] Angela was also former All-American honorable mention basketball selection for Kansas in , before moving to play professional basketball in Germany later on.[2] The family later moved from Kansas to Colorado in ,[5] where they had two more children, Stefan and Gabriella "Gaby",[4][3] and where the twins later starred in the Baby Einstein video, Baby Shakespeare: World of Poetry.[5][6][lower-alpha 1]The family later moved to Pocatello, Idaho.
